In this latest ongoing project, Laura visits her friends in the city of Beirut, asking them what items they would take with them if they had to leave everything behind in an emergency. After gathering the first items that come to their minds, she places them on their bed or even a carpet, like trophies summarizing their entire lives or what the word "home" ultimately represents to them.

"I always wondered what I would take with me if I had to leave my home in an emergency. Would it be sentimental belongings or useful objects? And what if I didn’t have the time to take anything with me? After the blast in 2020, the earthquake in 2023, and the ongoing genocide in Palestine, the question became a reality. I then started to ask around me, to my friends and family..."
